This is a notice telling me that My Best Scenes video for Sleepaway Camp was pulled due to "Violating Community Guidelines". So I watched through my video and read the guidelines to make sure they were right.
The only 2 things I saw that may even apply to violating their guidelines are one about extreme violence and one, to put it bluntly, about child porn. The violence one because of a no-contact-made stab scene, one of the hot pot of water being dumped on the guy and the child porn one because said guy ambiguously talks about having sex with the underage kids at camp.
So since I am still confused because of this cryptic message, I tried to contact Youtube. Trying to find an email link for Youtube on their contact page is like trying to find balls on a neutered dog. I had to go through a topic form that had nothing to do with why I was sending the email and ask them politely to pass it on. Here's what I wrote:
Can you please pass this along to the proper department at Youtube? I cannot find a basic email address for my issue. Thank You.
My username is blogthecutup on Youtube and today I had a video pulled for "violating community guidelines" but the email/notice did not go into further details about why my video was pulled. Can you please give me a case specific version of the problem? I like to have my videos available to my viewers at all times and to let them go without because of a very general problem is unfair.
Thanks for your time.
Until I find out what's going on, you can only watch the Sleepaway Camp video here on the blog. I'll keep you updated when they let me know.
