July 28, 2008
Kabral: The black guy always dies. Think about it, Unforgiven. Alien, Rocky 4. The Shining.

Roy Boy: Star Trek 2. Forrest Gump. Witness.

Bud Boomer: Annie Hall!...not Annie Hall

Roy Boy: Night of the Living Dead!

Bud Boomer: That's the one!

Kabral: And what about that brotha in Jurassic Park?

Roy Boy: Oh, that was cool!

Bud Boomer: There was two black guys who died in that one! That was a twofer! You must be really pissed off at that one.

Kabral: I'm telling ya man, the black guy always dies first.

It's an age old belief that cinema thought black people or African Americans were expendable. This started during the black and white, monster movie era. Many movies featured a lone black character, singled out and killed; usually first.

Was this really the case? Does it still happen today? With every review The Cut Up does, it will be sought after and found out if the black character dies first and if so, did it seem as though it was racist?

Join me as we try to find Cinema's true colors.

I'm not sure if this one counts either, for the same reason stated above.

I'm not sure if this one counts considering 99% of the cast and extras were black.

The Killer Shrews definitely counts and is what started this whole thing.
